What is Candy Shorts?
Three different things answer to roughly this name, and only one of them is what you're probably after.
Candy Shorts is a library of short, vertical, AI-generated drama series built into Candy AI. It's a tab inside that product, not a separate app, and there's nothing to download. Most series run five episodes of a few minutes each. The first two are free and you don't even need an account for them. The rest cost 12 tokens apiece, about $1.20. It's aimed squarely at adults, and the most explicit material stays hidden from anyone who isn't signed in.
The name collision, cleared up first
Search this and you'll land on three unrelated things. Worth knowing which one you're reading about, because the pricing and the content aren't remotely alike.
| What | Where | What it is |
|---|---|---|
| Candy Shorts | Inside Candy AI | The AI drama series feature. This site is about this one. |
| CandyShorts | A standalone micro-drama app | A different company with a near-identical name, serving short soap-style dramas. Different product, different pricing. |
| Candy shorts | Clothing stores | Actual shorts. Cotton candy, candy stripe, that sort of thing. |
If you came looking for the standalone micro-drama app or for a pair of shorts, this isn't it and nothing below is going to help.
Where it sits
Candy AI is a companion-chat product: you talk to AI characters. Shorts is a separate tab in the same interface, and it's passive rather than interactive. You watch episodes, you don't steer them. Both run off one account and one token balance, which is why tokens you spend on Shorts are gone from your chat budget and the other way round.
Individual series live at addresses shaped like candy.ai/candy-shorts/series/ plus the series name, so a series is a normal page you can link to and come back to.
A look at the catalogue
Eight of the most recent. There are 132 in total, 123 of which you can open right now without an account.

How the library is organised
Three collections sit across the top:
- Candy Creators, seven series fronted by recognisable adult performers. Every one of them costs 30 tokens an episode instead of 12, which is a story of its own.
- Candy Characters, the platform's own cast.
- Other characters, everything else.
Three filters narrow it down: All, New and Spicy. Then come the theme tags: Stepsister, Milf, Cuckold, Nympho, Stepmom, Wife, Taboo, Fantasy, Teacher and Maid. That list is the honest description of the range. It's domestic-taboo melodrama, not sci-fi with the occasional romance.
What an episode is like
Short, vertical, serialised, in the shape TikTok standardised. A series is five episodes for 115 of the 126 we counted, though eleven run longer and one hits 34. Rather than dropping new seasons, Candy adds episodes to series that worked, which is why a big chunk of the library carries a "new eps" flag at any given moment.
The storylines are built to end every episode on a hook. That's deliberate: episode two lands the hardest, because episode three is the first one you pay for.
What it costs
We counted all 126 openly accessible series. Episodes one and two are free on 122 of them. Paid episodes run 12 tokens on 116 series and 30 on the other seven. So a standard five-episode series costs 36 tokens to finish, roughly $3.60, but the long ones climb fast: 34 episodes works out to 384 tokens, about $38.
Premium is the other route: $13.99 a month, down to $3.99 a month if you pay for a year. It includes 100 tokens a month, which is eight standard episodes.
Who it's for
People who want short adult drama without having to hold up their end of a conversation. If you want to interact with a character, that's the chat side of Candy AI and a different experience. If you want full-length video, this isn't that either. Episodes are minutes long by design.

Common questions
- Is there a Candy Shorts app to download?
- No. It's a tab inside Candy AI, used in the browser. Anything in an app store using the name isn't from Candy.
- Is Candy Shorts the same as CandyShorts the micro-drama app?
- No. Different products, different companies, confusingly similar names.
- Do Shorts and chat share the same tokens?
- Yes. One balance covers both, so spending on episodes eats into what's left for chat.
- How long is an episode?
- A few minutes. Most series run five episodes; eleven of the 123 run longer, up to 34.
- Do you need an account to try it?
- No. The free episodes play without one.
